Hi Friends,

After visiting Salzburg, I went with Richard to his hometown Passau and I stayed with his lovely family. We did a lot of walking in and around the city, nearly 19km on one particular day. The following are pictures from my visit:

Passau is a peaceful, small town in Bavaria. I would recommend having a day trip here if you are passing through on your way to a nearby city in Germany, Austria or the Czech Republic.

The town hall has markers along the clock tower indicating the height of floods in the area (one of the worst in recent times was in 2013)
